Remember that book the Phantom Tollbooth? Where there was that one place called The Doldrums? Yeah, the windowless buildings remind me of that. (Psst! They don't have windows because I'm lazy!)
Just playing around with backgrounds in Photoshop. This will probably get scrapped. Comments
 I like the brushstrokes.
 The colors look really nice in the sky too... Very cool. And in the future, all buildings will not have windows. For some reason.
 -- "Where television invites passive acceptance and books invite detached analysis, games enjoin the player to passionate action."  Nice choice of colors and great feeling. I think maybe the buildings closer to us could be twisted a bit, colorwise to make them even more haunting.
 It's got a powerful aura around it. It could deffinately be taken further, though.

Probably because I'm in a Radiohead-induced coma. ...........Hmmm. It's a little bit too rough for me. Really thick black edges. That's only my personal preference, though.
